Die Ruimte, the highly anticipated fifth solo album from South Africa’s 8-time SAMAs winner Francois van Coke, has officially been released.
The album made its debut after a series of powerful singles that paved the way for its launch. In October 2024, Francois introduced the project with three singles in quick succession: “Victor Ludorum”, “Aande” featuring Ryno Velvet, and “Gelukkige Lewe”. The title track, “Die Ruimte”, and the deeply personal lyrics behind the album are a tribute to his children, with Francois frequently telling them, “I love you more than space.”
The album’s music speaks for itself, with relatable lyrics and captivating imagery, showcasing Francois’s ability to connect with listeners on a deep, emotional level. The album’s standout tracks will transport listeners’ senses and leave a lasting impression.
Francois’s Upcoming Plans and Tour
To promote Die Ruimte, Francois van Coke has planned several music videos, with the first, “Sad Man”, already out on YouTube. The video can be watched here.
In addition, Die Ruimte will be making its mark internationally, with Francois heading to Australia and New Zealand at the end of March and early April. He will tour with Die Gevaar and rapper Early B.
